Close shave for Hazell Bros
28/2/2008
Hazell Bros is hosting the first 2008 mass shave event for the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave. Employee participation is increasing steadily, with 13 staff members lining up to shave or colour their hair, including Director Robert Hazell and Commercial Manager Brad Klaffer.
Project Administrator Raigan O'Brien's shoulder length hair will be shaved on 13 March if she raises $2000.
"This is the second time I have participated in World's Greatest Shave - it's worthwhile knowing that I am raising money to support families and research for the Leukaemia Foundation," she said.
Currently, more than 30,000 Australians are living with Leukaemia - and only four out of ten adults survive. Funds raised from World's Greatest Shave allow the Leukaemia Foundation to provide practical assistance and emotional support to patients and their families.
