Hazell Bros Wins CCF Earth Award

Hazell Bros Group has been announced as a Tasmanian CCF Earth Award winner.
The Studland Bay Windfarm project won the $20m to $75m category of the CCF Earth Awards, which recognise excellence in civil construction.
This Windfarm project was undertaken for Roaring 40s, in conjunction with Areva T&D Australia. Work included the construction of a Windfarm and all associated infrastructures, with completion of the overall project in January 2007. Hazell Bros Group was responsible for the civil works and electrical cabling components including connection of the transformers.
The CCF Earth Awards are designed to highlight construction technique, safety/environment/ project management, and innovation in concept and implementation.
