Hazell Bros Group was today announced as the Tasmanian Government's Southern Regional Employer of Choice.

 Hazell Bros managing director Geoffrey Hazell said the company employs more than 400 people Statewide in Civil Contracting, Transport, Construction, Earthmoving, Quarrying, Concrete, Fleet Maintenance and Technical Testing.

 "It is our employees who are recognised by this significant Award - I am extremely proud of our people and the work they do," Mr Hazell said.

 "Let me also congratulate all the other finalists, the quality of which highlights the strength of Tasmanian business.

Mr Hazell said Hazell Bros also strives to both develop and care for its people.

 "You've probably seen a Hazell Bros concrete mixer, a Hazell Bros trailer or Hazell Bros earthmover either on the roads or building roads - but if one of our fleet breaks down, we can replace it.
