Hazell Bros wins Workplace Safe Award

Hazell Bros has been successful in the two categories it entered in the 2007 Workplace Safe Awards, which were announced as part of Workplace Safe Week.
The Workplace Safe Awards recognise Tasmanian businesses, organisations or individuals who are leading the way in workplace health and safety and are conducted annually by WorkCover Tasmania.
Hazell Bros was the winner of the Best Return-To-Work Program ahead of Caterpillar Underground Mining, Skilled, and Tasmanian Alkaloids. This award recognises the development and use of effective return-to-work and rehabilitation programs within organisations.
Hazell Bros was also Highly Commended in the category for Best Workplace Health and Safety Management System, an award that recognises demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of workplace health and safety through the implementation of an integrated systems approach.
