Hobart Summer Festival Launched

The Hobart Summer Festival 2007/08 was launched today. The Festival will run from 28 December to 6 January, featuring the Hazell Bros Courtyard and Hazell Bros Family Days On Parliament House Lawns.
Lord Mayor of Hobart Alderman Rob Valentine launched the festival, and announced several new attractions, including the addition of stalls to the Hazell Bros Courtyard.
"The hugely anticipated highlight of summer in Tasmania is the spectacular colour and vibrancy of the Hobart Summer Festival, including the famous Taste of Tasmania," he said.
The Hazell Bros Family Days on Parliament Lawns will feature Giant Games, with giant versions of Ludo or Snakes and Ladders which are played with a huge inflatable dice and players move around the board.
For family fun at the Hobart Summer Festival, visit the Hazell Bros Family Days on Parliament Lawns on 29 and 30 December and 1 January from 10:45am to 6:00pm.
