Hazell Bros was awarded the Launceston Aquatic Centre project which has provided a modern aquatic facility designed for all season fun and fitness for the Launceston community. The new facility caters for people of all ages, physical abilities and conditions.
The works included the redevelopment of the existing site, and the building of a new double storey swimming pool complex on the pre existing Windmill Hill site.
The existing pools were totally removed and the existing entry building was renovated to enable the redevelopment of the Aquatic Centre. The new building area spans approximately 6000m² and approximately 450m² of the existing building was renovated.
External works include landscaping, footpaths, fences, steps, walls, new car park area and roads.
