Through our comprehensive fleet of modern machinery, Hazell Bros are industry leaders in the provision of professional services and innovative solutions. 

Statewide Cranes is part of the Hazell Bros Group of Companies.  The business has a modern fleet of cranes, ranging from 7 - 160 tonnes. Cranes are supplied to customers with experienced operators and a full range of lifting equipment, including various man cages, fixed cages, and spreader beams. 

Statewide Cranes is actively involved in the following industries:

A wide range of current model heavy earthmoving equipment is available for both wet and dry hire applications including:

  • Excavators - 2.5 tonnes to 50 tonnes
  • Dozers - D3 to D8
  • Loaders  - 0.5m3 to 6.0m3 capacity
  • Graders  - 12G & 140G
  • Off road dump trucks - 27 tonnes to 40 tonnes
  • Telescopic Loaders - 1 to 3.7 tonne lifting capacity
  • Rollers  - 2.5 tonnes to 15 tonnes
  • Plus bobcats, ditchwitches and more

 

An extensive range of buckets and attachments are available including rock breakers, slasher heads, log and rock grabs, concrete pulverisers, steel shears, augers, drill rigs, extension boom (16m), 24m demolition boom, and more.

 

Earthworks Capabilities

  • All types of excavation, including house cuts, drainage, trench work (gas and water pipelines and electrical cabling) and house footings etc.
  • Driveway construction of all sizes and surfaces and landscaping gardening construction. 
  • Land redevelopment and dam construction of all sizes.  Large scale dam construction is undertaken in conjunction with our Civil Contracting Business.

 

Forestry Capabilities

  • Forestry road and bridge construction and maintenance, as well as location and surveying.
  • Fire break construction, clearing and preparation; including land redevelopment following any forest harvesting. 
  • All forestry related works are undertaken in accordance with the Forest Practices Code 2000.

Our operators are fully trained and among the most experienced in Tasmania.  Estimators perform solution reviews and provide quotes free of charge.  Landscape materials and concrete are sourced from our Quarry.
